yeah i give the caliper a good scrub up with a wire brush before putting the copper slip on, im thinking maybe i contaminated the disc somehow and now its not grabbing as much as the nearside. that would kinda explain the pulling to the nearside under braking. but would that also make ...

i recently been having problems with a sticky front off side caliper, so i took it off to have a good look (didnt remove hose) and nothing seems out of the ordinary so i put back on and put a little copper slip on the pad sliders to help them slide.

sweet!!
i had a similar experience with a mk 2 escort back in the day, i painted it purple with a sheepskin roller, supprising how smooth it turns out that way. the only thing i did differently is using the dry brush method after rolling it on to get a good shine :esm
might even go for that ...

ahh exellent cheers bud, im going for gloss black and want it shiney so i get a look almost like a panoramic sunroof if you know what im saying.

im going to be painting my roof black in the next few days, already tried the vynal and made a pigs ear out of that but at least its let me see what the car looks like with a black roof and i like it.

looking for info on getting a steering wheel boss to fit my 99 b5 1.8t. i have had a quick look on ebay but most sellers are vague about fitment details.
anybody fitted an aftermarket wheel to theres? if so can you advise me on which one i need to get.
