given that the AVB might not be as strong as the AWX engine would it still be ok to go to the130 BHP?

I don't want to go doing this work on fitting the engine and transferring parts if it will blow up on me a couple of hundred miles down the road...

I have a 2004 B5 Passat, 1.9 Tdi, 130 BHP, AWX engine.
The engine is seized and so I need to replace. I have come across a AVB engine, good quality and price.

My question: is it possible to convert the AVB engine to AWX engine i.e. can you get 130BHP from AVB engine? I have heard I need to ...
