The body was largely straight although it had never seen polish. Front wings were rotten though, rear brakes had no pads (not even backing plates) on one side and one piston had popped out. Reverse switch had gone, diesel cooling pipe under the car was broken, 2 engine mounts were broken, front brakes were seized, 2 window regulators were broken, heater matrix was leaking Just a real array of minor problems and a couple of major ones.
The plus points were the car only had 130k miles, had a new radiator fitted, had very straight, dent free bodywork and the interior was very tidy apart from a slight bit of bolster wear.
I replaced the entire braking system, got 2 new wings and fixed all the minor issues largely with spares I had in my garage.
Spent 3 days cleaning and detailing and it turned out not too bad. Planning to lower it just 25mm and source a set of 17" Phoenix wheels. And for MOt this year I replaced the entire suspension (all arms, shocks and inner/outer track rods). Drives like a new car now
