I haven't experienced any issues and the alarm still works as it should.
I swapped in a few alarm sirens from scrap yards/ebay and the alarm did not sound on any of them.
I just opened up my one, Battery still reads 6v and circuit board is clean (no damage from battery leak)
I opened the spare, battery is dead and has leaked
Pics attached of both units.
I'm going to replace the battery on the working unit before it does fail and leak.
Is it just a matter of melting the solder, swap the battery and solder new one in?
As for the fault code, what else could cause it other than the siren?
