Passenger door handle and window problems

I recently bought a 6,000 mile 2022 estate but after spending several hours examining the owner's manual I have been unable to:

1 - use the external passenger door handle without getting into the car first
2 - open any window without starting the engine.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
