Wife's car in for MOT - not a good start

Post by little_geoff »

Took her car to the garage for it's test at 8.30
"Ok, so it'll be done later..."
"Sorry. Can't I wait for it?"
"No. It's not the first MOT today, it'll be a couple of hours...we'll call you later"

WTF!!!

I booked it for 8.30, I expect to be able to wait for it, and I would expect to be shown any defects. I don't expect to be asked to walk home and back again when it's ready!!!
I honestly thought all those dodgy back street garages had been shut down but clearly not

The only reason I chose this garage as it is a VW specialsit so wanted to know what their service was like. Guess I found out.
My only hope is their MOT testing is as bad as the service and they pass it.
I'll be naming a shaming as soon as I get the car back. It won't be going back for the re-test.
