my 2nd k04-015 live map....today

One word........Disastrous

First run was 218 bhp, that was just the stage 1 map from a couple of years back, the mapper always does a run first to compare the other maps, but about 4k revs its started to misfire, at the time he blamed the 225 bam injectors and said thats normal for bigger injectors thats not been set up

So the ecu came off, and put on the bench, uploaded the files,

Fitted the ecu back on and did another run, 204 bhp, and still misfiring at 4k revs

Took ecu back off again, more tinkering. Third run was 195 bhp

He said it's not the turbo, injectors, or maf

I then phoned my mechanic who did all the work, and he said...." what spark plugs are you running "

i told him the copper ngk ones, " there's the problem " he said
Either that or a weak coilpack

5 hours totally wasted because i had standard plugs in

Dohhhh what a half wit iam,
I just hope it is the plugs

In all fairness the company didn't charge me for the wasted 5 hour's
