RNS 315 voice dial

The steering wheel has a voice button, the RNS315 manual says there is a soft button in the bottom left corner.....alas, pressing the button on the steering wheel just mutes, and the whilst the soft button is there, I see no icon on it, nor does it do anything. Anyone with a B7 and 315 got voice commands ?
