A 1999 110 tdi saloon, 105k miles, full service history and some nasty alloy wheels.
Before this I had a Bora for around two years, and spent quite a bit on it:

Then I had a BMW 325i for a few months and spent way too much on coilovers and alloy wheels before destroying it's rear subframe at santa pod:

Over the past two years I've just driven the Passat, not having any spare cash to spend and just doing routine maintenance. A few pictures from the last couple of years!

A trip across the channel to Latvia!

Smashed the sump on an awkward speed bump on a private road...

And finally got rid of the alloys!

And I like this picture too. The Passat next to a workmate's car

After all this time I finally had some money to spend! Due to the age of the car, and the amount of suspension noises it's now making (on 140k miles) I decided I'd replace the standard suspension with some coilovers. Also bought a set of standard Passat steel wheels, as the others were Merc ones with spigot rings and awful tyres.
And now it looks like this:

I'm pretty happy with how it is right now.
In the short term there are some mechanical things I have to set right, a few big things like clutch and cambelt, and maybe some orange indicators when I can!
Longer term maybe a remap and some other things... Not too sure yet.
Any ideas or comments are welcome and encouraged!
