Sat Nav / cruise control

Hi all,

Just picked up my vw passat today and had a lovely 240 mile drive home and will say i was very impressed. I have the tdi 2.0 177 sport version which i think was an ex demo .

I am having a problem with the sat nav though. It hasnt seemed to be able to pick up my exact location, for example whilst driving on the M1 southbound it insisted that i was on the M18. I have tried searching around to find a fix for this and wondered if anyone knew if there i was anything i could do before i contact the dealer. ( this was used 2013, not new but bought from an approved dealer )

Also the cruise control, i even resorted to reading the manual and it still doesn't fancy working. whilst driving on the motorway i tried moving the lever onto the "on" position however got no response, or get anything from any other lever position.
