vibration from front wheels ..?

Post by jonniequest »

Well i had standard breaks , and pads . etc , and when i got to around 60 to 80 mph my steering wheel was vibrating ...and when i brake it slightly pulled to the left , when i let go off the steering wheel it slightly steered to the left , when i was going very slow to a stop the pad would rub intermitently like the disc was bent

the vibration gets worse the faster i get ...

so im thinking it could be buckled wheel , tracking or worn brake discs , pads what ever ....

So today i put both my front wheels on the backs and swapped the backs to the fronts , i also put some new 312mm drilled dicscs on and my redstuff pads ...bled the calipers etc ... anyhow brake's are just great , very impressed .

but the vibration although not pulling to the left anymore when i brake , or rubbing in any way ... is still there but less ....the caliper pins were bent to , which ive changed

so what do you think it could be ... buckled wheel , the thing with the buckled wheel theory is the steering wheel still slightly vibrates would the wheel being on the back do this to the steering , or do you think it is the tracking ...

also does anyone know the best places to get tracking done and what sort of prices to expect ...?

thanks ...
