Down on power..

At first I thought I was imagining it, but my B6 is definately down a bit on power. Its only really noticable when the turbo starts up in the low gears - the power delivery seems a bit muted, lacking the "kick" it once had. Im thinking it might be down to clogged air filter. The service counter is showing 9000 miles to the next service, but with the bad weather weve had over the last month, the turbo has probably inhaled more than its fair share of dirt. No errors on the dash, and by crikey is complained of a few things in the past. Any other ideas?
