Oil light problems

Oil light problems
Hi, just joined the forum, we live in Greece and have a 2001 1.8 Turbo Passat, 124000 kilometers, the oil light kept flashing green 5 times every time the car was started, fitted a new sensor, now it just flashes red all the time and beeps, oil is ok, pump is ok, any ideas any one.
