I'd love to get a B5.5 but good example aren't going to that sort of money. (already contacted a few for sale folks on here)
My insurance company are still dealing with the claim, so i've yet to any sort of payout, so i have about £1000 to play with.
Yet i know very little about the other engine types, is it just the oil pick-ups in need to be looking out for? (and how do i tell?) on top of the usual passatty stuff?
Spotted a very cheap on ebay local to me, but it would be a blink purchase...?

Edit: Just checked insurance for that car on ebay and it;s coming back at £600-£1000, but that's to be expected i guess
