I returned from a 320 mile round trip to see my Mum yesterday and after parking up as usual on the drive, I took the key out, retrieved my fleece from the back, closed the doors and pressed the lock button on the key...............
Nothing.
I tried several times to get a reaction from all the buttons. I tried putting the key back in the ignition and that worked fine but it just won't lock.
I got my spare key and that works fine so when the car was locked I tried to unlock it with the first key......and nothing. The little red light flashes as I press the buttons so I think the battery should be OK.
Has anyone had anything similar happen to them? What did you do?
I don't feel too safe with only one key locking/unlocking.
