However, the car sounds like a Tdi.
I've took the rocker cover off and the head is full of sludge, I'm going to clean the oil pickup/poke a hole through it as I remember reading about problems with the 1.8t a while ago.
I also remember something about the cam chain tensioners becoming faulty after a while if oil pickup is blcoked. How would I check that it is OK/No Good??
