Firewall?

Have just updated my Norton anti virus to 2009 & am now having problems with Zonealarm firewall.
Basically I keep loosing my AOL connection with Zonealarm running, but everything runs fine now I have removed the Zonealarm program from my PC.
But obviously I want a firewall. So what is a good firewall to use now?

any help appreciated
