Hi,
Does anyone know what size rubber fuel hose I need to replace all my fuel lines on My BKP?
And how much length wise?
Cheers

Re: Front-end clicking/knocking when braking - 2006 B6 Saloo
I had this on my B5.5 Estate. I changed disks and pads for off he shelf GSF parts and the noise began.
Found out that cheaper pads are a little bit lose so bought some BOSCH ones and the noise went.
A case of you get what you pay for.
Hope this helps.

Re: High revs for a second on start up!!!
Your right!
Bloody garage set the exhaust cam 1/2 tooth out so I couldn't get my locking pin in.
Seems to start better now but not perfect.
They marked all the pulleys before removing old belt.
Probably why the new cambelt snapped.

Morning all,
I have replaced all the glowplugs with new NGK's
Replaced the coolant temp sender
Tried a working Fuel temp sender out of another car.
And still every morning my car struggles to start in the cold or on warmer mornings it will start and rev high for a second and settle down to ...

Re: Gear driven oil pump smashed up!
Update:
Pulled it all apart again on Monday night and checked, checked and double checked everything.
I've had a couple of people now saying its the gears cutting in (new bedding into old) and it beginning to get better (not noticed to be fair).
Car runs and drives fine apart from judder ...

Gear driven oil pump smashed up!
Evening All,
My Passat BKP started to get an intermittent noise at idle like a vibration. On Monday evening, I left work and it began to make a knocking noise in the engine and in a few minutes, the STOP LOW OIL PRESSURE flashed up.
I shut it off straight away and got a tow home.

Hi all,
My Passat TDI has done just under 200k and just started the dreaded front brake clunk a few weeks ago. This would only happen at slow speeds and the car also made a lot rattling and banging when going over small bumps.

Outside temp sensor position?
Hi all,
Can anyone show me pic's of where their outside temp sensor is and how's it's fixed?
Mine is to the side of my intercooler and held on with a cable tie
I have heard of a special clip that holds them on.
Cheers

Morning all!
My car is Passat B5.5 1900TDI.
Slightly hungover this morning changing my air filter and found a small black pipe nearly worn through leading to this (see pics).
