Thank you very much for the replies! In the meantime we replaced the switch but still [bleeping] bleeping, so a trip to diagnostics it is! What was wrong with a lever and cable??!!!

Hello, please could you help bring some light to VW's parking brake system on my 2007 Passat Sport?

Initially the warning light came on then the parking brake light (yellow P in circle with a line through it ) so I had it diagnosed and a new brake calliper fitted.

The next day parking light came ...
