Turn signal not working, can't figure it out
Right hand side (drivers side) turn signal isn't working. Initially the bulb would be illuminated solid even with the ignition off (key out) and would drain my battery. Now the bulb will not illuminate at all. There is 12V there regardless of whether the ignition is on or not. All other turn signals work fine (left and right side, mirrors and rear). Took it to the shop because I could not figure it out, he said it must be the body control module (which cost over $1000 then I have to take it to VW to get programmed). Car at this point isn't worth much more than that so I probably won't go that route. Any Ideas? Was thinking of running wire from the side mirror turn signal down to the one that's not working.
