Passat injector?

Hi all, got a 06 Passat 2.0 tdi bkp engine that we’re having an issue with. If you drive along sedately it’s fine but if you put your foot down in 3rd,4th,5th the traction control light comes on and you get a power loss - let your foot off and light goes out and you can carry on, you can do same revs in 1st & 2nd it’s ok! When the light comes on it registers p1264 - cylinder 2 short to plus and p0238 - overboost. Have changed MAP sensor and also wiring in the cylinder head but to no avail. Would fault with injector cause excess fuel and overboost? Don’t want to go down injector route until exhausted all other options. Thanks all
