I can only get the key fob to operate if I am standing right next to the car, whereas I have seen videos on Youtube where the key fob appears to work some 30 or more metres away. All three buttons on my key fob operate the same correctly for their respective function, although I might have to press a couple or so times.
I bought new batteries (Maxell CR2032) but it made no difference and the solder joints I could see looked sound.
Any ideas?
