Engine hesitation

Good afternoon all.
I have recently had my 08 B6 develop an engine hesitation after around 15 minutes of driving it from cold, only happens then.
My commute is a constant single track including altitude from home, no traffic or lights etc, so it's always in the same area of road also, 40 mph, I can almost predict where it will occur and its not daily.
It's just a second or two of hesitation but it's also happening on my way home but at 60mph on the faster section.
No code, MAF readings fine, filters changed 1k ago, glow plugs fine, no sensor issues I am aware of at all.
If its electrical, why the same sort of time after the engine is up to temp?
Any input welcome please.
