Passat B6 comprehensive brake bleed

Post by pintail120 »

Hi,
I have a passat B6 2010 model and would like to carry out the service interval on changing the brake fluid. I have a few questions:

Should I follow the ABS bleed procedure with VCDS to cycle and clear old fluid out of the ABS unit and if so should I bleed the ABS first or last ?
Does anyone have the comprehensive process steps to bleeding the ABS ?

What order should I bleed each caliper ? I have found some documentation stating the following and would like to know what anyone else can suggest:
Front Left wheel
Front Right wheel
Rear left wheel
Rear right wheel

Should I bleed the clutch and if so should I bleed it first or last ?
Are there any dangers in bleeding the clutch ?
Reading on google searches: the location of the slave cylinder is located under the airbox ?
Can anyone confirm this and how difficult is it to gain access to the slave bleed nipple?
If I use the Gunston or Sealy pressurised system do I still need to pump the clutch pedal or can I only rely on opening the bleed nipple and allow the fluid flow till its clear ?
Thank you for all your help and answers in advance
Gavin
