Hi All,
I bought a Forte turbo clener to eliminate this horibble limp mode(I thought that was the issue). But after an intensive acceleration on the motorway the turbo stopped working, glow plug indicator was flashing on the dashboard. After I turned off the ingnition and back again it was fine again, the glow plug dissapeared from the dashboard.
This is what I have got from VCDS:
1 Fault Found:
16618 - Boost Pressure Regulation
P0234 - 006 - Limit Exceeded (Overboost Condition) - Intermittent

I have got a feeling that something has blocked the turbo, because since then the car pulls better and feels stronger too. This also happened a few years ago driving on a steep hill and suddenly the turbo swithced off the engine lost all the power.
Any ideas what is the issue with the turbo?
Many thanks
Tamas
