B6 Tyre wear on inside

Hi

I bought a b6 diesel recently. There were 2 as new tyres on the back and 2 not so good on the front. I noticed yesterday that the 2 newer ones that were on the back are getting very worn on the inside with maybe 3k miles done . I went today to get 2 new front ones and said it to the tyre fitter and he said that was a common problem with the passats and from looking on the web its seems he is right. Has anyone found a fix for this issue. I got it tracked also but it was out very little but from looking at the cars history mots it seems its an on going issue.
