2007 Passat B6 TDi 170 BMR engine
I'm at my wits end, I just don't know what to do. I have white smelly smoke that makes your eyes water coming out of the exhaust at idle, which starts 2-3 minutes after startup. I don't notice it when I'm driving but when I pull up at traffic lights I can see it building up in my rear view mirrors and a rev of the engine makes it poor out.
I've had a new turbo fitted, egr valve replaced, oil changed, injector 1 replaced. Still no difference. If anything, it's got worse. I've spent over £1500 and got nowhere.

Can you provide any advice at all I am at a desperate loss? And the repair costs are just becoming economically unviable.
I have read endless stuff on VAG chat forums about this but yet no-one seems to have found a conclusive answer and yet it seems so common. I have contact my local dealer and shard my VIN number in the hope my car was part of the recall in 2011, no luck.

Thanks to all in advance.
