Strange this one.
Was driving to work then all of a sudden car juddered and stopped engine. Tried to restart it , but it kind of whined instead of ticking over. No warning signals shown on a dashboard.
Once rescue man arrived , he scanned it etc and said no faults were detected. All electrics , injector, pump are fine and working. He suspected that cambelt jumped few teeth etc.
Cambelt was changed 2 years ago at vw dealership and car travelled 9000miles since then, so not sure.
Atm friend of mine will come round to do a proper scan on his fancy Delphi machine to see for any clues.
What you reckon, what that can be? And if that's cambelt where do I stand against vw dealership?
Prior to that, car didn't give out any symptoms like juddering or smoking, it was perfect.
Car is 58plated 2.0cr tdi Cbab.
Engine cut out, what could that be?
