Scenario.
Audi A4
When I had an Audi A4 1998 model. which was a digital A/C not knobs like my Passat. When you clicked it on you could feel the car lose power and the fan kick in.
Passat B6
Has swirl knobs. When I hit A/C I hear nothing but the light comes on and it DOES get colder. If I hit the recycled air one I hear a click from the glove box.
So why nothing from the A/C and no loss in power? Are they designed better now?
Also what type is mine? Climatic? Manual?
Engine running do both fans at the front come on, or is one for the A/C?
