Jerk/Stutter Under Acceleration - DSG?

Hi guys,

I have a 2006 B6 2.0 TDI Sport DSG with Paddle Shift.

Car has 115,000 miles on it now.

Now im on the motorway to work everyday and over the last few months have experienced a worrying Jerk/Misfire type of problem where the whole car starts to shake.

Times when it happens:

- If im on the motorway maintaining a speed of around 50/60mph and try to accelerate slightly to overtake it will all off a sudden start jerking like a misfire. If i accelerate very slowly it will be fine. (Its safe to say i dont even try overtaking any more)

- From Standstill if i accelerate quite quickly it has also now started doing it from between 1500rpm and up in every gear.

Is this the DSG box or could it be something else?
