TPMS light and something sticking out of tyre bead

So today my Tyre Pressure warning light came on on the dash after having new tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago.

I’ve walked round to check my tyre pressures and notice NSF is lower than the rest by 5psi but also has something sticking out of the tyre bead.

Anyone know what it is or might be?
