Fitted a new headunit yesterday and had disconnected the battery and removed the heater control trim including passenger airbag indication light. Didn't realise at the time that not having the trim plugged in before reconnecting the battery would give me an airbag error.
I thought the warning would go away once you started driving but doesn't seem to be the case.
Tried to read/clear the code with some cheap ELM327 OBD2 reader I have but doesn't read the code at all.
Can anyone tell me quickest/easiest/cheapest
way to fix it please?Also, I'm going to be replacing the battery soon - would it be advisable to wait until after that to clear the error?
