Fuel economy estate dsg

Hi
I think my dsg estate executive style is quite thirsty, i use it mainly local stop/start. Its a 175bhp model. Today i filled it up and it only shows 425 miles on range, it has been fully serviced etc
What should i be looking at to get this checked out or is this a true reflection.
