Twice during the past week Auto-Stop/Start has not cut in when I would have expected it to.
Both times I have stopped after a 5 or 6 mile trip, and the cooling fan is running and outside the car smells very warm. Oil temp gauge and MFD are both displaying 90 degrees.
Continuing the journey, Auto-stop/start has functioned as I would expect, and cooling fan is not running when I get out.
Could it be something electrical? Any thoughts welcome.
