Stop/Start clashes with Auto-Hold on DSG?

Scenario -

Pull up at traffic lights with Stop/Start and Auto-Hold activated.
Engine Stops.
Long wait anticipated so remove foot from brake to utilise Auto-Hold - Engine Starts again.
Auto-Hold overrides and negates the advantage of Stop/Start

Question - at some point does Stop/Start recognise that the car is still not moving and stop the engine again?

Only had the car a month so still learning........
