Suspension upgrade for a 4motion Estate?

Hey all,

This has probably been discussed a million times but couldn't find anything specific to 4motions.

I have a set of H&R coilovers on the car at the moment and they're just too stiff. The car hasn't been on the road in a long long time but now I'm looking to put some money into it and bring it back to its former glory.

I want something that's going to lower it by about 20-30mm but also give a comfy enough ride.

I've seen things like Eibach and Bilstein Pro and Sportline kits which appear to be what I'm looking for.

Has anyone got any first hand experience with B12 vs B8 shocks? Will B12 be too sporty for regular driving? (keeping mind I'm a lot older than I used to be so having the car decked with a shaky ride just isn't what I'm about anymore)

Any advice or helpful links would be huge help.
