Tailgate won’t open after flat battery

Hello All,

Went away for a week and came back to a flat battery (might have left dashcam on).

Jump leads were in the boot so used the key to manually open the boot to get them (it’s the estate model).

Jump started the car and battery now charged / charging without issue. However, now the tailgate won’t open with the normal hand action and doesn’t appear to lock / unlock with the set of the car when using the remote fob. It will Howe still open on the key. Not the worst problem in the World but annoying nonetheless.

Is there a way to reset it after a battery drain like this? Has anyone experienced this before? Advice welcomed.
