So, I've been plagued for a while with bad brake pad rattle (think constant rattle). Tried bending the three tangs outwards, some success. But when I tried again this time one of the tangs snapped (very brittle metal) so I thought outside the box and used some old 3mm silicone pipe over the tangs. Also cleaned pad guides etc. Simple fix, silent brakes now. It's the small things that put a smile on my face
