2002 TDI estate scrapping, what to do??

so the most reliable car I have ever owned has come to the end of its life, (arguably), it has dozens of injuries and has just been whacked from behind.. My question is, what to do now, the engine is amazing although it has done 200k and timing belt not been done for 9 years!!
is it worth selling (it really is beat up, we dont care much for cosmetics, its never been cleaned and we use one of the doors as air rifle target practise), or are there any parts that I can easily sell on ebey before scrapping it??
can I possibly transplant the remote locking system into the new car, a 2011 polo?
we only sold it because my daughter is 17 and needs a smaller car to learn in/ drive, its cost us £15 in 9 years, for the wiring that goes to the injectors i think?, that was a pig to change! ..
any advice hugely appreciated. Ta,x
