I have done a couple of cosmetic mods (Aero rear wiper, chrome stubby aerial) and a PD Tuning box from eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0078096575) but now I'm looking to mod big time!
I've spent the last few days reading hundreds of posts on here, passatworld & tdiclub, but would apprechiate some help from fellow UK owners.
Wheels & Tyres - Have just bought 18" R32 style with 205/40 tyres so question here now irrelevant
Wheel spacers - What's advisable for an estate? And where from?
Body - Am liking the look of a kit from eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0075428501) All the ones from the UK are way too expensive and over the top for me. Also, are the black door & bumper strips paint-able? I'd like them same colour as the car.
Suspension - Lowering, I've read about FK coil-overs, but can't find them. Anyone point me in their direction?
Headlights - Like the angel eye ones, found the FK ones on ebay. I assume I have xenons at the moment, how do these differ in terms of brightness, etc?
Exhaust - Can't find one anywhere. Would really love a twin out (i.e one at either side) but only one I've seen is for a 1.8T B5
Window tints - Anyone reccomend anywhere to get these done? And what percentages have others gone for.
Anything I've missed?
