VW Seats =PLS READ !

Post by kev »

Whilst driving the Highline today I thought I would turn on the Heated drivers seat as my back was giving me a bit of gyp!
Any way it starts heating up lovely & realy makes my back feel better

After about 2 minutes I got a sharp pain in my right thigh & then a burning sensation (at this point I turn off the heated seat) so I pull over as the pain is getting worse & then I smell a horrible burning smell :?

I get out of the car swearing & rubbing my thigh & then I notice a small burn hole (about the size of a fag burn & no I don't smoke) in the seat bolster :x

Anyone hear of this happening before? & what would be the best way of getting the seat/heater element repaired/replaced?

Here are a few picture of the hole I wont post any pictures of the blister on my thigh though!
