I am new to the forum after buying my b5.5 estate. Just moved over from uk-mkivs (BoraDaz) after selling my Bora and moving on to a bigger family car.
Anyway while driving it its started juddering. Mainly when cruising its starts to judder a bit. And it ticks over very quietly but the car shakes a bit every few seconds. The EML light came on after 75 miles of driving it.
It came from a trader and only has 80k on it. I am guessing it was sat for a few weeks and then the trader did a few miles here and there. Now i have started driving it properly it isn't liking something.
I have used redex in the system but that hasn't helped. I took 1 spark plug out and it looked 'charcoaled' on the tip.
I will be changing the plugs this week and getting it scanned tomorrow.
Any ideas?
