Passat 3BG (B5) indicator wing mirrors

I'm sure this has probably been asked before, will 3BG (B5) indicator wing mirrors fit onto a 3B (B5). Mines a 1998 B5 3B. It would be interesting to know what parts if any are interchangeable between the two. Besides the front and rear light clusters, they don't look that different. :-?
