Help needed !!! Flashing glow plug light

I have a 54 passat tdi the glow plug light has just come on flashing also engine workshop it says. Also the abs and warning triangle are on constantly until I turn off engine. I have checked and have no rear brake lights when breaking. Any ideas what could be wrong any help appreciated thanx.
