Stuck door

Infuriating problem - ns/f door stuck shut.

I had it dismantled yesterday to replace knackered regulator cable and change the door lock.

I tested the lock before it went on car, and about 20 times while on the car - opened, shut, locked, unlocked, both handles - must have tested a lot repeatedly, all seemed fine.

Left the door card off to cure some glue for a clip holder repair and did some other work.

Later tried the door and it will not move. The locks operate normally, as do handles but it will not release and its seriously shut tight.

I suspect there isnt enough tesion on the outer handle to balance the levers correctly so therese not enough travel now to properly unlatch.

Before I enlist a second pair of hands to operate handles while Im forced to enngae heavy right boot from inside to see if I can spring it does anyone else have any ideas?
