hi all joined the site a couple of months ago as i was on the hunt for a b3/b4
its taken a wile to find the right car at the right price ,a m reg 1.9 tdi with 113000 on the clock and 2 former keepers
but after finding it ive got a few issues i could do with help on
ive got a strange engine fault car runs rought on idle engine seems to be missing but once you put your foot down it pulls like a train with no smoke
as soon as you lift of it starts to try and jump out from under the bonnet and carrys on shaking till you hit about 2000 rpm and the turbo starts to spool up
any idea on were to start would be a great help
i will try to post some pics up here
i belive the engien is a z1 motor
