The future of my B4V TDI is in serious jeopardy unless I can sort these friggin windows
.I have one working which luckily is the driver's door.Evidently most of the problems on this particular car are related to the controllers on the motor and it would appear all door cards have been removed in the past.Likewise central locking is also knackered(also connected to window controllers) Having ploughed through many forums it seems windows suffer from other issues too.In the interests of keeping car it would make sense to ditch the power windows and replace with manuals.I have seen manual kits on ebay at a reasonable cost but interested to know which models came with manual windows? 1.8 petrol 1.6TD ?? with intention of sourcing one thats being broken for spares whereby might be able to acquire handles and door cards etc
