Suspension and bushes

I've just this forum after spending much of my time floating around the traditional ones and i'm glad to see there's a strong Passat contigent out there.

I've a '94 TDi90 Variant and a creaking noise has appeared over the last month. Upon investigation I discovered the wishbone bushes are pretty worn so now would be an ideal time to polybush. Can anyone recommend a quality cheap kit, I have access to presses and a workshop so fitting isn't really a problem.

While the bits were off I thought I might change the suspension for something a bit stiffer, does the standard VR6 kit fit? Failing that can anyone recommend a cheap fixed rate kit to drop about 40mm.
