Hello from the Isle of Man

Hello folks, a newbie here from the Isle of Man.
I`ve just joined this forum as I`m new to VW ownership, so in time, if I ask any silly questions please excuse me.
I`ve recently bought a 1978 B1 Passat GLS four door, one owner from new (I`m the 2nd) with a full history. It is a Manx car from new and only covered 33k miles. Rust proofed from new, which has done an excellent job as there is no rust to be found.
No doubt I`ll be here picking brains at some point, but for the time being …. hello
