Are B1 & B2 Passat Bumpers and grills interchangeable?

I have just got myself a B2 1.8l CL... I can't wait to start restoring it, but on the aesthetic side I love the shorter bumpers and grill from the mark 1.
If I can track them down, are they a straight of simple swap do we know.
